The Glee Project, Birthday Wishes and Things Like Mood Rings.

Man. I am so clever. Just listened to a song called "Chap Stick, Chapped Lips and Things Like Chemistry" from my new Relient K CD that I got for my birthday. WOO BIRTHDAYS.

This post will take a long time to write/post because I am doing work. But blogging makes me happy. Unless I do depressing posts. That makes me depressed. Not that it matters because you guys aren't sitting around waiting for me to blog, but whatever.

I have an English exam tomorrow. FML. I am not going to do as well as I should. It's split into three 50 minute sessions, which is SO dumb because it's only 800-1000 words. Apparently the first session is for planning, the second is for writing, the third for editing. Who plans for 50 minutes? Except... Maybe I can calm down now, because I can spend 50 minutes planning tomorrow... Hm.

My window's open and my room's right at the front of the house. I heard a voice and though it was my brother so I ignored it. I heard someone saying, "Heellloooo," soon after. I very nearly said, "Shut up!" Or just, "BE QUIET!" I thought it was one of my brothers. It was some door-to-door salesman. That would have been awkward.

Wait, did he tell my mum he was from Pantene? Doubt it.

Why are all of my pencils broken?

Oh wait. I actually do have a sharpener. Like right here next to me.

STOMACH TURBULENCE.

My parents gave me a recording of The Planets Suite by Holst, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra this morning. As well as the Relient K CD. I swear, if anyone looked through my iTunes library they would most likely say, "What the heck?"

"And I'm only gonna pierce my left ear. And I've been working on this moustache all summer long. And my favourite band will always be Tears For Fears. And I'm gonna wear a pink tux to the prom." Love this song.

COLLEGE KIDS. I LOVE THIS SONG. "Oh, not for me, not for me. Call it torture, call it university." "Arts and crafts is all I need. I'll take calligraphy and make a fake degree." For someone who really wants to go to university and has never considered not going, it's weird how much I love this song. It's funny, OK?

Anywho, I had a cool as birthday today. Yes, I had to go to school, but it was good. I mean, I woke up, got ready for schoolio, ate croissants, bacon and eggs, opened presents, went to school and got many birthday wishes. I brought lollies to celebrate and it turns out Gojo brought lollies too. It also turns out that Phantomess went to the trouble of making 17 little cupcakes and decorating them with icing and those little metallic edible balls. We put these all in the middle of our circle of friends at morning tea and, though we started off slowly, we devoured it all. Seriously. I felt kind sick and at least a kilo fatter, but it was so worth it. It was a lot of fun and I love my friends :)

Yes, I did just Google "evil guy names." I decided that was better than "evil dude names." Well, that Google search didn't really help. I guess my evil guy will continue to be Dr. ____.

I think blogging and facebook distracted me from sharpening my pencil...

Oh my gosh. This song, "Hoopes I Did It Again" is funny as. Made me laugh and choke. Painful humour, indeed.

Anyway, I got like, 30-something facebook birthday wishes today. At least 5 from people I practically NEVER talk to. I sat there writing "Thanks :)" and variants of that MANY times. I could have just liked some people's posts, but I would have felt bad. I'm that weird.

So, one of these Relient K songs is called "Mood Rings." It is an amazingly funny song. I love it. Too much. LYRICS:
We all know the girls that I am talking about
Well they are time bombs and they are ticking
And the only question's when they'll blow up
And they'll blow up;
We know that without a doubt cause they're those girls, yeah you know those girls that let their emotions get the best of them
And I've contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man
Let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings
So we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off
Cause we'll know just what they're thinking
Just what their thinking
She's so pretty but she doesn't always act that way
Her moods out swinging on the swing set almost everyday
She said to me that she's so happy it's depressing
And all I said was someone get that girl a mood ring!
If it's drama you want then look no further
They're like the real world, meets boy meets world, meets days of our lives and it just kills me how they get away with murder they'll anger you,
Then bat their eyes; those pretty eyes that watch you sympathize Go!
And I've contrived some sort of a plan to help my fellow man
Let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings
So we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off cause we'll know just what they're thinking just what their thinking she's so pretty but she doesn't always act that way her moods out swinging on the swing set almost everyday she said to me that she's so stressed out that it's soothing and all I said was someone get that girl a mood ring
Cause when it's black means watch your back because you're probably the last person in the world right now she wants to see and when it's blue it means you should call her up immediately and ask her out because she'll most likely agree and when it's green it simply means that she is really stressed and when it's clear is means she is completely emotionless
(And that's alright I must confess)
We all know the girls that I am talking about, she liked you Wednesday but now it's Friday and she has to wash her hair and it just figures that we'll never figure them out. Well first she's jekyl and then she's hyde... at least she makes a lovely pair
Mood ring, oh mood ring, oh tell me will you bring the key to unlock this mystery
Of girls and their emotions, play it back in slow motion so I may understand the complex infrastructure known as the female mind

I apologise for any bad grammar. I just copied-and-pasted it...
I swear he is singing about me, dudes. MY MOODS- Y U NO BE STABLE? OMG I SHOULD MAKE THAT MEME!!!! IDEA!!! LIGHT BULB MOMENT!!!

Anywho. Nath_alex01 gave me the homework to write about the contestants in The Glee Project and my opinions on them all. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: (Is it sad that all these facebook birthday wishes are actually starting to annoy me a bit?)

Hannah: I have to admit, her voice was not the best of them all and it was a little weak. However, she was so kind and funny and bubbly and just generally happy. She would immediately make me smile, no matter what she did and she would have made a really good character on Glee.

Cameron: I really liked Cameron, despite the opinions of some of my friends. I liked him from the start and really liked his unique voice. I really respected the decisions he made, standing up for his beliefs. Some people may hate him because he couldn't kiss a girl without crying. I did not hate him for this. I thought that the way he stood up for his beliefs throughout the whole series was actually really brave. Braver, I think, than just kissing other girls, because he got ridiculed or put down for standing up for his beliefs. I respected it and his decision to leave, despite the emotional rollercoaster I went through when that happened.

Damian: Originally, I liked him solely for his awesome, and.. attractive, Irish accent, but I found that I really liked his voice and his personality. He is nice and funny and has a good voice. I cannot, however, imagine him being on Glee as he does not seem to be enough of an underdog, despite how much I love him.

Ellis: Friends of mine also hated her, but whatever. I really liked her, from the moment she made the joke about her appearance and age. I found that relatable and I found her sarcastic, snarky sense of humour funny. Yes, she had a negative attitude and quite a few issues, but I found he really relatable. Her voice wasn't one of the best and, because of this, I don't think she should have gone much further in the series, despite how much I liked her.

Emily: First episode, I though she was going to be kinda mean, but I ended up really liking her. She was so funny and very talented but also not much of an underdog.

Marissa: I did really like her. She had a great voice and was a pretty good actress. She seemed nice, but she didn't really seem to get a lot of time to show who she really was, so I didn't really get an impression of her personality. Despite her indisputable talent, I couldn't see her being on Glee either.

McKynleigh: She was very talented and she seemed like a really nice girl, but somewhat shy. She came off quite boring as she didn't do a great job of showing off her personality and I felt really sorry for her, actually, but I don't think she would have been good for Glee.

Lindsay: She is VERY talented. She has a great voice and is a good actress. I do not, however, like her personality. I think she is quite fake and very self-centered. I also don't think she would be a great character on Glee, as she is too confident and mainstream, for lack of a better word, and isn't an underdog.

Samuel: Eh. I was indifferent towards him, then I liked him, now I don't. He has a good voice and is a decent actor, but he seems to only be able to act 'intense'. There is nothing about him I particularly dislike, or like, and that bugs me.

Matheus: I didn't like him much. He had a good voice and was alright at acting, but there was something about him I didn't like. I'm not quite sure what it was, but I am glad he went home, even though he could have made an alright character on Glee.

Bryce: Well, first character off makes him hard to judge. I didn't like him much, but I didn't really dislike him. I thought his voice was weak, but I felt kinda sorry for him, being kicked off for an "attitude problem" that I didn't really think he had.

Alex: Yes, he is extremely talented and a decent actor, but he annoys me. I find his personality annoying. He is quite stuck up and he knows he is good and has no issues sharing that with everyone. He has moments when he is obviously stuck up and other moments when he's quite dealable. I have to say though, in my personal opinion, he has looked more awkward than the other guys when they have to do guy + guy duets, which I find interesting. Anyway, he is the only one of the final four that I can imagine being on Glee as he is an underdog, but I have always thought that he is the complete mixture of the characters of Mercedes and Kurt and, therefore, wouldn't bring anything very original to the show.

There we go, my opinions on the TGP characters, in some sort of order.

I should end my post here, I guess to go do English and flute practice. Wish me luck!

MY MEME, GUYS! I 'M TOO EXCITED BY THIS!

Insert Witty, Eye-Catching Title Here.

So, I was halfway through a Society Rant Based on the Teachings of How I Met Your Mother blog post, when some stuff changed my mind. I know, you're all disappointed. I'll write that post another time. So, a very religious couple I know often find themselves in facebook arguments about religion with both their non-believer and believer friends. They are some intense arguments. I read a couple tonight. One argument including two friends of mine. Of the "non-believer" persuasion. Now, the first argument I read made me angry. With both sides of the argument. I don't think anyone dealt with it too well. But, interestingly, the second argument made me cry. Three times. Only small crying sessions, but I cried. It wasn't that that argument was any worse, really, it was just all of it put together. Maybe also the fact that two of my friends were involved.

Now, I actually didn't agree with most things said by anyone on these arguments. They argued about whether God hates or loves people on one argument. They argued about whether God actually exists on the other. I cannot stand science vs religion arguments. I just cannot stand the ignorance of people. On both sides, but I'm not going into that. I hate going into that. I think that's what made me cry.

This year's been quite religious for me. Well, not religious, but yeah. It might sound dumb or cheesy, but a band really did help me. Yeah, a band. Relient K. STORY: I got an album of their's last year for Christmas. One night I listened to it and a few certain songs made me realise crud about myself. Bite My Tongue- Made me realise that I really need to watch what I say, ask God for the right words and just bite my tongue. If I don't have anything nice to say, I shouldn't say anything. Give Until There's Nothing Left was the biggest one (listening to it now). LYRICS:

No one told me
The right way
The right way to go about this
So I'll figure it out for myself
'Cause how much is too much to give you?
Well I'll may never know
So I'll just give until there's nothing else

Yeah I'll give, give, give (until there's nothing else)
Give my all (until it all runs out)
Give, give (and I'll have no regrets)
I'll give until there's nothing left
I'll give

No one told me
How bad I need you (need you)
But I somehow arrived
To that conclusion all by myself (all by myself)
And I want
All you have to offer (to offer)
So I'll offer myself and I'll just give until there's nothing else

And I'll give, give, give (until there's nothing else)
Give my all (until it all runs out)

Give, give (and I'll have no regrets)
I'll give until there's nothing left to
Give, give, give (until there's nothing else)
Give my all (until it all runs out)
Give, give (and I'll have no regrets)
I'll give until there's nothing left

Sometimes it seems
Like all I ever do
Is ask for things
Until I ask too much of you
But that's not the way (that's not the way)
I wanna live (I wanna live)
I need to change (I need to change)
But something's got to give
Yeah something's got to

Give, give, give (until there's nothing else)
Give my all (until it all runs out)
Give, give (and I'll have no regrets)
I'll give until there's nothing left to give
Give, give, give (until there's nothing else)
Give my all (until it all runs out)
Give, give
Give until there's nothing left
I'll give

The bit that really got to me is the "sometimes it seems like all I ever do is ask for things until I ask too much of you. That's not the way I wanna live... etc" It kinda slapped me in the face. I realised that I only ever tried to talk to God or pray when I wanted something. I'd go, "I'M FREAING OUT OVER MY EXAM TOMORROW! Dear God, I pray you'll help me do well, amen." But I never thanked God or just prayed for other people. I've changed that now. I try to pray every night when lying in my bed. I try to pray for people around me and for me to remember God's with me etc. I've kinda opened my eyes to what God does do for me and it's all so good.

Now, I don't go to church a lot. I often stay home to do school work etc., but I don't believe this is bad. Sometimes, it's good at church. I'll learn something and see other Christians. But, I feel like it isn't very relevant to me very often. The messages are good, but I don't feel they really speak to me. Again, it might sound stupid, but a lot of the Relient K music relates to me more. Now, I am not following this band like a church cause that ain't cool. I just feel it speaks to me and I think God speaks to me more through the music.

After my weird realisations through music last December, I spent one night at a Youth Conference by the begging of a friend of mine. It was good. I had my friend and a friend of hers (who I'd met once) hug me and pray for me and it touched me. I realised that God had spoken to me in different ways, ways that would get to me. Music and friends. Two big parts of my life and I'd finally gotten a wake-up call.

Now, I am still doing SO many things wrong, but I feel comforted thinking about all this.

I've learnt a lot about my personal beliefs this year, too. In my RAVE class about a month ago, my teacher told us about what he believes it means to be a Christian. My class had a little uproar about what he had to say but I agreed. He said that he believes that if you believe these four points, you are a Christian and will go to Heaven. Let's see if I can remember them:
1. God is all-knowing
2. God is all powerful
3. God sent his only son Jesus to Earth to die on the cross for our sins
4. 3 days later, Jesus rose from the dead.
My teacher said if you believe that, you're a Christian in his eyes. My class complained like crazy after class saying things like, "So, he's saying if we don't believe all that, we'll go to Hell?! Ugh, I hate him," and I had to restrain from yelling, "Yes. Christians do believe that if you don't believe that stuff, you'll go to Hell, so stop moaning," and I have to say, this teacher is actually quite good at not forcing his opinions on everyone, in my opinion. Everyone else says, "He's always forcing his opinion on us and telling us we'll go to Hell." He has never said they'll go to Hell. He never said he's right. He actually told us the other day in class that he could be wrong, about everything but it's his belief. It may be weird, but I actually find his crazy strong faith quite inspiring.

I've been thinking and I really think Christianity can get so over-complicated. In my opinion, it's pretty simple. You accept that God is your saviour. He created you and loves you. He sent his son to Earth. His son died on the cross bearing the sins of everyone. He rose 3 days later. If you accept this as true, you'll go to Heaven. Therefore, you have accepted the existence of God. If you believe He exists, you want to do things to please Him and try to sin less and help others etc.

I believe that religion becomes too much of a big thing. The actual religion part. I think it should all be more about a relationship. A relationship with God. I have changed most of my views on this stuff so far this year and I'm seeing things differently. I have become kinda enlightened. Things like Easterfest, mentioned AGES ago (well, at Easter) got me looking at the huge group of people singing songs of praise and I have never felt more confident in my faith. Watching sunsets and seeing the natural beauty of the world makes me so confident.

These days, I love lying in my bed at night, listening to some good God-related Relient K music (like the stuff I'm listening to right now) and pray and thank God for the good stuff he's done.

I just wish it wasn't all so over-complicated. I wish these kinds of hypocritical arguments wouldn't take place. Sigh. Just got some lyrics from a song for the arguing Christian's on some of these facebook arguments:
"Because the judge of you is someone I could never be, is why you should thank the Lord that it is him, and it's not me"

Definitely not what I intended to be blogging about 3 hours ago when I started my HIMYM post, but the fact that these arguments made me cry kinda got to me.

Someone on these arguments said something about homosexuality and this got me reading things. Many non-Christians state that "God hates gays," etc. and I disagree. So much. I've been reading an article on the issue, written by a homosexual Christian. It's pretty interesting, actually. I have never been very open or comfortable on the issue of homosexuality until this year when one of my best friends in the entire world came out. It got me reassessing things and chats with him tonight about these subjects continued my reassessing. I think the parts of the Bible that talk about this (which is very very small parts) are in context of the time it was written. A LOT of the Bible is quite relevant today, as it was written regarding standards held then. I still believe a lot is relevant too. I truly do believe that my God loves everyone. He hates a lot of the things we do, however. Back to my earlier point, in my opinion, if you believe those four things outlined earlier, you will go to Heaven despite your sexual orientation, despite your past crimes etc.

Anyway guys, I have a Maths test tomorrow. I could write so much more about this stuff, but I haven't studied much today...

I Could Easily Forgive His Pride, If He Had Not Mortified Mine

I've realised that I'm kinda moody recently. Like, seriously. My moods fluctuate so much during the day. I'll go from tired, to high, to tired, to annoyed, to depressed, back to high, then back to depressed, then high, then meh. Well, that's how it's been today, actually. Kinda weird. And kinda annoying.

GUYS, I HANDED IN MY TWO MUSIC EXTENSION ASSIGNMENTS TODAY.

Wow. Ninjas are way cool, bros.
LOLWHAT?

How true... Happens to me ALL THE TIME.
So, I love Japanese names, guys. They are so cool. Especially Japanese girls' names. They are so cute and pretty and... om nom nom.

It's taken my brother nearly an hour to eat dinner. Fail, much?

So, my English Extension class this arvo wasn't bad, thankfully. I mean, we got our assignments (15 minutes? Seriously?) but apart from that, it was pretty cool. I mean, my teacher, Mr Noodleton made it pretty enjoyable with all of his really weird, lame jokes and strange facial expressions etc. Man, he is weird. Seriously weird. But funny as, because of this weirdness.

In music today, Tenuto Tuo and I sung several songs really loudly and purposely out-of-tune. We serenaded Phantomess with our own cover of "I'm Yours". It was truly amazing.

Guys, I've gotta show you this chick. I want her hair SO bad.
NOM NOM NOM
So, she's is the actress who plays Amy, the newest companion in Season 5 & 6 of Doctor Who. My second favourite companion, with my second favourite Doctor. I really like her and I find her quite the attractive one. PLUS, she has an awesome Scottish accent. Whoop.

You know what I've noticed, hanging with a mixture of boys and girls? Girls are a LOT more comfortable saying that other girls are either pretty, attractive or hot than guys are. The girls of my school went to this thing where women who have made their way in media gave speeches about their careers. Gojo, Phantomess and I thought this one speaker was very attractive. When we talked about her back at school, the guys I hang with found that really weird. They always find it weird that we are comfortable talking about the attractiveness of both men and women, even though we are all straight.

So, I kinda like cynicism, right? I mean, sometimes it's funny when people, well, mainly fictional characters, are all, "Who cares? We're all gonna die?" Take, for instance, Squidward from Spongebob. Love his cynicism. I also liked the cynicism in the ending of 1984. The whole, "He loved Big Brother," thing. The fact that it's saying, "Yeah, you can try and fight and rebel against all the cruddy stuff, but it'll beat you eventually." I liked that. I'm not a full-on pessimist, cynicist, however. I just find it amusing at times.

Just chillin' in my room eating a mandarine and drinking ice cold coke. Hecks yes.

The awkward moment when you get out a mandarine to eat and then go and pour yourself some coke and you turn around can't find your mandarine causing you go walking around the kitchen yelling, "I LOST MY MANDARINE!"

I really wanted to do a huge Society Rant on here tonight, but I lost motivation. If someone had given me a laptop and Blogger access at about... 3:15ish this afternoon, I would have gone off. Now, not so much.

Now, I'm in the mood to listen to one of my favourite songs at the moment. The Vinyl Countdown by Relient K. Basically, it talks about how no young dudes appreciate vinyl records and just use CDs and MP3s etc. It's quite amusing. My favourite bit ever:

These days, kids they are so ignorant
They have no clue what to do with the 7 inch.
They say, "It won't play, it's my CD player's fault, let's take it to the park and play some frisbee golf"
So, give me side A, give me side B, it really doesn't make any difference to me
I tried to burn it, like all the CDs that I get, but what the heck is all this melted plastic mess?

That last line is my favourite in the whole song.

I love humourous music. Oh my gosh, if you want humourous music, you have got to listen to this song. LOVE it. May The Horse Be With You by Relient K. LYRICS:

Bored in a stable with nothing to do.
We make a game out of throwing our shoes.
Lead me to water, but not to the track.
Show me a saddle and I'll say, "Hey get off my back."
All in favor (all in favor) say "Nay!"
We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay.
We're gonna graze all of our days.
Until they take us away and turn us into glue.
Like Mr. Ed always said... May the horse be with you.
May the horse be with you.
May the Horse be with you everyday.
I trot by the fillies, they like me of course.
They all dig my band, yea I'm a rocking horse.
You gotta take off your spurs to ride me you know.
If you want me to stop then yell out "Whoa".
All in favor (all in favor) say "Nay!"
We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay.
We're gonna graze all of our days.
Until they take us away and turn us into glue.
Like Mr Ed always said... May the horse be with you.
May the horse be with you.
May the horse be with you everyday.

So, I don't know who "Mr. Ed" is, but I still love this song. Classic. Youtube it, guys.

There's this anime I kinda want to watch now. It sounds kinda dumb, but most animes I've watched sounded dumb before I watched them. No, scratch that. All of them sounded dumb/weird/confusing before I watched them. Anyway, DNAngel. Some guy turns into his alter ego whenever he has romantic feelings for the chick he likes, or thinks about her too much. I think she might end up liking his alter ego. That's a Trope. I know that cause of Superman. Totes makes me think of this show I have watched, Lois and Clark- The New Adventures of Superman. Yeah. I have seen almost all, if not all, of that show and I loved it. I've always had a soft spot for superheroes. And romance. And superheroes in love. And yeah, that's this show. Basically, it focuses a lot of Superman and Lois. Well, Clark. Well, the title says it all. I always remember the sad, depressing section of that show when Lois looses her memory and when she rejects Clark for a proposal because she found out he was Superman afterwards and the phase when they are going out and get into fights all the time because he has to leave her to save the world but she doesn't know he's Superman. Wow, I said all of that in almost reverse chronological order. Aw, I really wanna watch that show again. It may sound lame, but I loved it. Lois was played by... Teri Hatcher, btw.

I'm TVTropesing (Yep. It's a verb now) DNAngel. Maybe Lois and Clark next.

Guys, why do my blog posts always end up being about completely different things than intended??

I am a sucker for time travel. I love movies and books and TV shows that include time travel. Probably a large reasoning behind my love of Doctor Who. Actually, not probably, definitely. Also, a large reasoning behind my, albeit kinda sad, love of the Back To The Future movies. I do love them. Maybe I only like Sci-Fi that includes time travel. I'll admit, I wasn't a huge fan of Stargate SG-1 when I watched it. I watched one season. I liked it, but it didn't keep my attention. Also, there wasn't enough romance. I mean, I was a huge Samantha CarterxJack O'Neill shipper since the moment the met in episode 1 and she cracked a joke about reproductive organs. They didn't have any "moments" for AGES! THEY WERE STUCK IN ANTARCTICA ALONE AND HE WAS DYING FOR GOODNESS SAKE! And what did they say to each other? "It's been a pleasure working with you." I was all, "UM. EXCUSE ME? NO. YOU SAY, "I LOVE YOU" DANG IT!" Sigh. I did watch one brilliant episode from season 5 though... Window of Opportunity. Groundhog Day-like thing. Love those kinda episodes. It had hilarity and a shiptastic kiss. FINALLY. Only episode that really kept me satisfied. Oh, and that one where they nearly killed that girl. They nearly exploded her. That made me cry. But yeah, maybe I'd like it more if there was more romance and some time travel in season 1.

Guess I better get off this. Like, now. Hm.

^Pride and Prejudice quote as the title, y'all^

Books... Are For... People Who... Like To... Read...

So, before giving y'all the context behind my post title, I shall outline my day. Whether you care or not.

Band: Meh. Pretty lame but hey, I got chocolate so it's all good.
Maths: Pretty good. Maths is actually pretty fun lately. Only because I... don't... really.... do any work. Heh. I did, however, neglect a good friend of mine, Old Man, and it was intentional. I'm not quite sure why, but I didn't feel like explaining the work to him because a) I can't explain well, b) it always makes sense to me and c) it never makes sense to him. Quite a mean reason to not talk to someone but I felt like chatting with my lady friends (*wink*wink* Jks) about the formal etc.
Music: HAHAHA! Had a performing assessment and it was quite the failure. So, Tenuto Tuo's piece was transposed wrong, so he, with the help of our teacher, had to rewrite it. We had to change a bit of Gojo's piece because she had a clashing note. Phantomess was completely dying and could barely breathe next to me and I completely butchered a whole important solo section so that you could hear everyone else playing the not-so-important backing and the occasional note from me. Yeah.
English: Meh. I guess it was good, because he didn't read the homework that I wrote in Morning Tea, just before the lesson. He just looked at it. He did try and get us into a moral debate, however, and I did not engage in this. I mean, like I ever do.
Physics: Ugh. Alright, I guess. Got completely frazzled (I should definitely use that word more often) by my assignment and my teacher was all, "I can't spoon feed you guys anymore," and my reaction was basically !@#$. I told him I didn't get any of it and he told me to come to school early and he'll help me. If that's not spoon feeding, I don't know what is. We managed to talk to him about the formal for ages and then Miss Invisible FINALLY got our experiment working. In the last two minutes of class. Just in time to pack it up. Oh well.
Instrumental: Wow. Yeah. Phantomess and I told Instrumental Teacher all our issues and how we don't like instrumental and how it gives us self-esteem issues etc. She was all O_o and then basically told us we have issues and that's dumb to feel bad because we don't suck. Then we had a REALLY (that's right, bold AND caps lock. Emphasis FTW) fun lesson which involved a LOT of reminiscing and laughter and her not caring that, for the first time in ages, my scales sucked. She had said, "Your scales are great!" about 5 minutes earlier and that's when I decided to stuff up every scale she asked me. Ah, the irony. Is that irony? I never quite know when to use that word... Hm.

Anyway, I have no homework. Several assignments, but no homework.

This caused me to... fangirl. Quite a bit. This is where the post title comes in. I was looking up my, often mentioned, favourite band, Relient K. I found a funny interview with them and was reading it and found myself loving the lead singer even more. Like that was possible. Then I watched some of the interview in a video and he sounded funny and I was disappointed. I found youtube videos though and he doesn't sound weird. Anyway, I found a video of the band chatting and cracking jokes while filming one of their music videos. Oh my goodness, they are all (but especially the lead singer) so funny. He was at a library, for filming a scene, and said he liked this library, showed the audience his library card and said, "You should come to the library," said something about books and/or libraries being good and then said, "Books... are for.. people.. who... like to... read....." I laughed quite a bit. My goodness. Wait, no. I shall NOT fangirl! Bad! No! But... like... Pretty sure there should be a much younger (I was quite devastated when I found out he is 30... Oh wells) version of him in The Land Down Under... *slap* focus!

So, I'm now listening to some seriously catchy Japanese music from Special A. Good music. Good anime too, but yeah. The music is something I cannot help but dance and hum (seeing as though I have no clue what they are saying) along to. Good thing no one can see me...

So, like, Gojo and I are planning on throwing tomatoes at each other.

Aw, my song finished. New song! I'm now listening to Dirty Little Secret by The All-American Rejects. Although saying, "I'll keep you my dirty little secret" may sound weird and kinda sexual, I love this song. Haha. Well, they also have a song that says, "I wanna touch you. You wanna touch me too," but I always feel awkward listening to that... But it's really catchy.

Now for something completely different- So Close- David Harris. I have sung and swayed along to this several times with Phantomess. We are a sucker for this song. Om nom nom. Yes, I shall eat this song.

So, my good friend, Tenuto Tuo, is holding a Eurovision Second Semi-Final Party in a couple of weeks and I am so excited. It's weird how excited I am. I think I am excited to get the heck out of my house and chill with my friends and do something fun and not school-related.

Oh, how could I face the faceless days if I should lose you now? Mmhmm. You tell em. Wait, iTunes is telling me that, because I bought the David Harris CD, I might also like Michael Jackson, MIKA and Robbie Williams? They don't seem very similar to me...

So, Imma gonna write a post sometime soon (I guess I'll restrain from doing it tonight...) with a list of weird, quirky, unusual things about me you may not know. Yeah, cause I am weird.

"Cupid's arrows just for you! I even painted my toenails for you, I did it just the other day!" N'aww, she painted her toenails for me... I've always wondered, "Why is that romantic?" Why would you say to someone, "Hey, you! I painted my toenails for you. I also bought new underwear, they blue." Pretty sure I'd be all O_o

So, I'm going to go off and read my book, Matched. It's good, but I wish I wasn't learning about dystopias in English because that completely describes this book and I keep reading it relating it to 1984. Except for the romance. Yay romance. Except... I like the guy that she's not in love with. Aw. And I'm pretty indifferent towards the guy she is in love with...

I'll stop. Now. No... NOW.

Maybe NOW.

Or not.

NOW!

Where Do I Go From Here?

Just another song by my favourite band, Relient K, that feels as though it was written about my life.

LYRICS:
Leaving may not be coming home
Needing to know I'm not alone
Even though I can't feel a thing

Taking time to get over it
Making the best of what won't quit
Breaking me down, I can't feel a thing

Where do I go? Where do I stand?
Where can I find myself again?
Where do I go if not disappear
Where do I go from here?

Tracing my steps right back to you
Racing the clock to save an hour or two
And facing the fact I don't feel a thing

I'm dealing with what I can't control
Feeling confused 'cause I don't know
If healing is when you don't feel a thing

Where do I go? Where do I stand?
Where can I find myself again?
Where do I go if not disappear
Where do I go from here?

Woah, woah, woah
And I still can't feel a thing

Love it. Yes, this explains me. I listen to it and think it's basically about knowing that your life isn't what you want, you aren't who you want to be and you want to change. You make the decision to do something to change, getting all empowered and whatnot and then you realise, "I don't actually know how to change anything. I don't know what to do," and this is me. I keep thinking, "Yeah! I'm gonna change! I'm gonna have something happen and be better and enjoy everything more," and then realise I don't know how. Now, that's how my life is at the moment. It is a huge circle. Or cycle. Or both.
In case you're not sure what a circle is.

I sit around feeling down and think, "Come on, man. You're not helping anything, moping around. Get off your butt and do something." I'll listen to an inspirational song and go, "Yeah! I'll do something! I'll make it better!" Then one little thing will set me off again and I'll be all, "Wait. I don't know how to change anything. I can't do anything."

There are so many times I wish I could snap. That sounds stupid because, I mean, who says, "Yeah! I want to have a public breakdown! Whoop!" But, I kinda do. I mean, I've never really liked the idea of crying in public and try to prevent that as much as possible, but still. Just sometime I want to snap and just cry and yell and flip out. Completely flip out. Just to show everyone, "Hey, you know me? The girl who sits here arguing with Albino, hitting Old Man in the face, talking about Eurovision with Tenuto Tuo, rambling about anime with Gojo and talking away in Physics with Miss Invisible? Yeah, well, she isn't actually as cheery happy as she may seem." I had Phantomess over last night and I realised this. I realised I want to snap in front of everyone, as opposed to snapping at home in my room. I want to snap in front of my instrumental teacher. So seriously. Just to show her how I am not dealing with her pressure as well as she thinks.

Half of me doesn't want to show everyone what I'm feeling (as though I could explain any of it) and the other half wants to scream it out. Because those aren't some seriously conflicting feelings at all...

Now, this is actually so not what I was going to talk about. Whoops. I was planning on a religious rant again. But I believe I will do that later. It's time to try and do these freaking hell of an assignment.
